The CompanyVisions is one of the fastest growing production companies in the UK. With its lively and energetic management and operational style, Visions provides to wide range of cliental from blue chip companies, public sector, or private individuals. With a range of services including, rental, production management, conference management, audio visual supply and power distribution. Established in 1999, and then turned into a limited company in 2001, Visions has grown from strength to strength, still with the original directors in control. In 2005 the directors purchased Meridian Marquees, at the time one of Visions clients, both companies still trade seperatly, however share a unique relationship being able to pull on each others services if required. In 2007, still eager to grown the directors once again purchased another one of Visions clients – Complete Events based in Newbury, Berkshire. Visions had been working for Complete Events for the past four and a half years after meeting at an event in Essex. Again Complete Events trades independently from the other two companies, but enjoys the close knit working relationship we have in the office, the marquee companies can also boast that they are the only marquee companies in the country with the amount or technical knowledge and equipment in-house. This relationship also helps when Visions needs a stage cover, or front of house tent !! Over the last few years we have worked on a number of high profile jobs with each other for example the 2006 anti-terrorist police operation in High Wycombe, where Visions provided electrical distribution for 12 weeks and operation lighting in the woods for 18 weeks, Meridian Marquees provided temporary structures for police staff welfare. – See case studies.
The Years aheadPushing forward we have a lot of exciting opportunities to work on and with the addition of Complete Events we have a lot of other jobs to think about. As health and safety becomes even more paramount we will see the gap between the professional companies and the cheaper companies increase, as they are likely to find it hard to keep up to date with the stringent H&S controls and will slowly find it harder to compete. We feel we are well placed to cope with all aspects of Health and safety as we have a full time member of staff responsible for this task and we are members of both Citation and The Production Services Association.
